Multnomah County Health Department, Oregon Health Authority, Cascade AIDS Project, PQ Monthly co-sponsor a community town hall to share information on the syphilis increase among gay and bisexual men and to gather input on a new action plan.
In the past 6 years, syphilis has increased by 200%. At our request, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) thought brought clinical and social reserachers to Portland to help us gather input from many community members, cleints, health care providers, and others.
Why is syphilis so important?
Come hear what is going on, what we found out, and what you can do to protect our community’s health. Share your ideas about what we can all do together. Monday March 2nd, 6:30-8:00pm at Q Center, 4115 N. Mississippi Ave.
