Over the past few months Q Center has been receiving nominations for our 2012 Winter Gala Awards from Portland’s LGBTQ & Allied Communities and we are pleased to announce the nominees! From here, Q Center’s board of directors will choose the winners (one from each of the three categories) and the awards will be given out this coming Saturday night, February 18th, at Q Center’s 2012 Winter Gala: Never Out Of Style.
The criteria for all nominees is as follows:
• They lead by example
• They promote healthy individuals, families and community
• Their actions are motivated out of altruism and respect
• They believe diversity is a strength
• They encourage and support the vision and dreams of others
• They encourage others to expand their vision.
