LGBTQ+ Resources Search Tool

Welcome to our new Information & Referral portal!
We currently have more than 390 resource listings available to the LGBTQ+ community in Portland metro & beyond.

Our outdated and rudimentary spreadsheet-based “Resources PDX” lists have been replaced with an expansive and customizable database using iCarol Helpline Management Software. You can learn more about the whole project HERE.

THIS is a public portal into that database!  Search by name or type of resource you’re seeking, remember to check your spelling and try using synonyms if your searches don’t give a lot of results. We’re currently customizing this tool so know you can contact us for help searching! Our database has hundreds of listings and this search tool currently only finds some. Search results are sorted alphabetically.
Not finding what you need? Don’t give up!!
q center logoYou can explore your options with a Q Center LGBTQ+ Information & Referral volunteer.
Call our main line (503) 234-7837.
After discussing your unique situation and gathering some basic info, we can do a more advanced search from our side of the database and can send you referrals back by email or over the phone.  Our LGBTQ+ Information & Referral volunteers are generally available on the new Q Center Resource Line weekday afternoons from 2-5pm. Outside these hours, you can leave a message at reception or in our voicemail for the resource team with your contact info and your call will be returned in 1-2 business days.
Our resource line is not a crisis line. A list of 24/7 crisis hotlines and resources can be found here.
If you are seeking shelter resources after hours, please contact 211info by dialing 211 from any phone.
If you are a provider or work for an agency that would like to be included in our resource database, please go to this link and fill out the form to be contacted to discuss the details of your listing and our I&R program.
If you see an error in the record for an agency or program, you can submit a suggestion at the bottom of that record.
We’re still working on updates and your patience and assistance is appreciated! Q&A and sample search suggestions coming soon!

Many thanks to Kaiser Permanente and Legacy Health for their generous financial support of this program, and to Outside In for partnering with Q Center as an intern site for their youth to gain new employment-related skills. Special thanks to Seth Johnstone of SMYRC’s Bridge-13 program for building the bones of this project back in 2014; interns Brandon and Cleo; and Raina Daniels, Q Center’s Program Manager, for steering us into 2017!
