Skippered vs bareboat yacht charter in Seychelles - experiences?
Has anyone chartered a yacht in the Seychelles, and did you opt for a skippered charter or a bareboat one? I'm trying to figure out which would be best for our group. We have some sailing experience, but not a ton, and I'm wondering if the extra cost of a skipper is really worth it or if we'd be fine handling it ourselves. Also, did it affect where you could go and what you were able to do, having a captain onboard? Any tips are welcome!

It really boils down to experience and what you want out of the trip. For total relaxation, a skippered charter is amazing but if you are pretty confident, it might be more fun to explore as a group. I was recently researching upscale sailing vacations and found a company that seems to have great customer service. luxury yacht charter in Seychelles had several options that you might want to check out. Having a skipper onboard might be useful in areas like the Seychelles if you really want to explore remote areas but aren't confident with local charts and conditions)))
